Refresh Your Shelf: Book Swap

| January 16, 2024
Submitted by Bani Rafeh for PhD

Refresh Your-Shelf with a new favourite book at our café-style book swap, featuring our Open Shelf!

Reading is a great way to unwind, escape the stress of academic life, and take a mental break. You’re invited to browse the fiction and nonfiction books available at the Open Shelf, to bring in donations from your own collection, and to enjoy some light refreshments while you explore the books.

Similar to a “little free library”, the Open Shelf offers books for free that do not need to be signed out or returned. Open Shelf is the primary location for library users to donate materials, and is available outside of the event time.

Donate what you can, take what you need. Large donations will be accepted during the event. Course packs and specialty printed course materials are not accepted. Staff reserve the right to remove any materials unsuited to the Open Shelf.

Details:

  • Monday, January 22
  • Time: 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
  • Location: Mills Library, McMaster Main Campus
