| January 28, 2021
Submitted by Nicole Buston for McMaster

Spring nominations for Valedictorian are now open! Nominations will be accepted until Friday, February 19. Valedictorian applications are an excellent opportunity for graduating  students to nominate a fellow graduating student who best represents the student community at McMaster University.

How to submit a nomination:

Criteria:

  • Valedictorians will demonstrate high leadership and communication skills. In addition, and pursuant to the selection policy, applications will be evaluated on such factors as personal achievement and community outreach.
  • Valedictorians will speak to the convocation from which they graduate, and the selected Valedictorians will be notified of the date and time of their virtual convocation via their information packages.

Any questions about the Valedictorian Nomination Package should be directed to Ryan Tse, MSU Vice President (Education) at vped@msu.mcmaster.ca.
