Human Capital and Knowledge Management

What are human capital and knowledge management? Why do these things influence an investor’s idea about how an organization performs? DeGroote researchers Sash Vaid and Benson Honig explain why investors’ opinions of executives and human capital impact firm performance.

Their study, “The influence of investors’ opinions of human capital and multitasking on firm performance: a knowledge management perspective,” systematically examines human capital in the context of managerial succession. They explore the relationship between knowledge management of entrepreneurial multitasking and firm performance.
