In 2021, McMaster launched the Black Student Success Centre. Part of this new centre’s mandate is to foster community amongst our black students and faculty.

The Black Student Mentorship Pogram’s core objectives include:

  • Improving Black student academic performance
  • Strengthening awareness of resources
  • Creating a safe space for relationship building among peers and faculty
  • Fostering a sense of belonging within the wider McMaster community
