Company Overview:

George Weston Limited (“GWL”) is a major Canadian public company, representing Canada’s largest food and drug retail businesses through its control of Loblaw Companies Limited and Shoppers Drug Mart. With over 2,400 stores, the retail operations reach most Canadians serving their everyday food, health, and wellness needs. GWL also controls one of Canada’s largest REITs, Choice Properties REIT, which owns around 700 retail, office and industrial properties across Canada. With over 200,000 employees, GWL is Canada’s largest private sector employer.

Our CPA Program:

Our rotation-based CPA Program offers candidates the unique opportunity to work in multiple diverse businesses during a 36-month term. We are an Approved Training Office with CPA Ontario, and our program is designed to give candidates broad business exposure and the opportunity to progressively build technical skills and develop business knowledge under the mentorship of experienced accounting professionals.

  • Location: 22 St Clair Ave East, Toronto, ON

Spots are limited! The dress code is business casual.

Itinerary:

  • Introduction to GWL’s CPA Program (1:00-1:45 p.m.)
  • Program Panel Q&A (1:45-2:45 p.m.)
  • Networking (2:45-4:00 p.m.)
