Mask Requirement at McMaster

| March 10, 2022
Submitted by Karina Almeida for Student Experience – Academic

Health and safety remain key to our successful return to campus. Stability is essential for students as they finish their classes and head toward exams, and for faculty and staff who are continuing their transition back to campus.

For continuity, McMaster will maintain its longstanding mask requirement within all indoor sites until at least the end of the winter semester, including exams.

The mask requirement will be coupled with other ongoing McMaster safety measures, including our vaccination mandate, active screening and improving our ventilation systems. Physical distancing will be encouraged at McMaster sites, but will no longer be required.
