McMaster’s first SDG Pitch Competition | March 8

You are invited to participate in McMaster’s first Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Pitch Competition. Your team could win one of three $2,000 cash prizes!

Deliver a 3-minute pitch on one of the three challenge topics:

  1. How might we encourage waste reduction in McMaster’s Centro dining area using a 3 R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) approach?
  2. How can we increase active and sustainable travel before, during, and after Light Rail Transit construction?
  3. How do we achieve gender equality and women’s empowerment?

Info Session:

Monday, March 6

  • Time: 5 – 7 pm
  • Location: Mills Library
  • Register: eventbrite

Learn about the competition, gain support from academic and industry experts, and learn how to deliver a great pitch. Pizza will be provided!

Pitch Competition:

Wednesday, March 8

  • Time: 5 – 8 pm
  • Location: MUSC
