The DeGroote Student Experience team can assist you with program options, course selection, missed coursework, experiential opportunities, and more!

Meet Disha Manek, Office Assistant:

What do you do and how long have you been at DSB? I have been with the Undergraduate Student Experience team at DeGroote since May. My responsibilities include assisting Business students through various modes of communication (email, phone, Zoom calls), helping out with course enrollment, general inquiries, as well as booking academic advising appointments.

What is the best piece of advice you would give a new student? Don’t be shy to try new things, ask questions, and attend office hours! Professors and TAs are vessels of knowledge and are always willing to answer questions.

What is your favourite hobby? Baking.

What is your favourite Hamilton location to visit or restaurant to eat at? Industria Pizzeria.

What is your favourite ice cream flavour? Cookies and Cream.

What is a fun fact about yourself you would like to share with our students? My name means “Direction”!
